Product Description:
AMA is composed of a polyester film layer laminated with two layers of high‑temperature‑resistant polyaramid fiber paper on the top and bottom, bonded together using imported Class C adhesive. The surface A paper (domestically produced polyaramid fiber paper) is made from 100% meta‑aramid fibers and is finished by calendaring.
AMA’s soft composite material, rated H‑class (180°C), exhibits excellent mechanical properties, including tensile strength and edge tear resistance, as well as superior electrical strength. Its surface is smooth and it demonstrates strong adhesion to insulating varnishes.
AMA, when compounded with Class C adhesive, is compatible with virtually all resins and varnishes and exhibits excellent resistance to acid and alkali corrosion.
AMA is primarily used for inter-slot, slot‑cover, and phase‑to‑phase insulation in low‑voltage motors; it can also serve as interlayer insulation in transformers or other electrical equipment.
