Z1258 Rust-preventive Silicone Covering Varnish for Dry-type Transformer Cores is composed of modified silicone, curing agent, fillers, drying agent, additives, and mixed solvents. Its heat resistance rating is Class H.

Performance and Applications:

This varnish can be dried at room temperature. The resulting film is glossy, full, smooth, and flat, with strong adhesion, and exhibits good heat resistance, elasticity, weatherability, and moisture resistance. It also offers excellent water resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. It is suitable for brushing onto metal and non-metal surfaces that require high adhesion, and can also be applied to steel surfaces that are insufficiently derusted or relatively damp.
