To further strengthen the company’s fire safety management and enhance employees’ awareness of safety precautions and their ability to respond to emergencies, the company organized a fire safety training session and an emergency evacuation and fire-extinguishing drill on June 5. More than 100 employees participated in the training and drills.
During the training, the fire safety instructor placed particular emphasis on building the “four capabilities” of fire safety: the ability to identify and address fire hazards, the ability to organize and extinguish incipient fires, the ability to organize personnel evacuation and escape, and the ability to conduct fire safety publicity and training. Drawing on real-life case studies, the instructor provided a detailed explanation of how to conduct self-inspections for fire safety, how to eliminate fire hazards, how to escape and save oneself in the event of a fire, and how to organize and guide personnel evacuation. These explanations enabled participants to gain a more intuitive understanding of emergency evacuation and self-rescue techniques and to develop a deeper appreciation for the importance of fire safety.
Following the training, the company conducted an emergency evacuation and fire-extinguishing drill. Upon hearing the fire alarm, the firefighting team promptly arrived on scene, retrieved the fire-fighting equipment, and implemented emergency response measures to extinguish the simulated fire. Under the guidance of evacuation coordinators, employees covered their mouths and noses with wet towels, bent low, and evacuated in an orderly manner to the designated assembly area. After confirming that all personnel on each floor had been safely evacuated, the coordinators immediately closed the fire-rated doors on their respective floors, proceeded to the assembly point, and swiftly conducted headcounts by department and floor before reporting the evacuation status to the overall drill commander. Subsequently, a fire safety instructor demonstrated the proper use of dry-powder fire extinguishers on-site, and employees had the opportunity to practice extinguishing a simulated fire, thereby mastering the correct operation of fire extinguishers and acquiring the skills needed to effectively put out fires.
The entire drill was conducted in a tense yet orderly manner, with active cooperation from employees across all departments and seamless, precise execution of procedures, thereby achieving the intended training objectives.
