To celebrate International Labor Day on May 1 and Youth Day on April 29, to enrich the cultural and recreational lives of the company’s employees, and to invigorate the workplace atmosphere, the company held the “First Lixin Group Staff Fun Sports Meet 2015” on the afternoon of April 30, 2015. Nearly 300 athletes took part in five events, including “Kangaroo Jump,” “Throwing the Embroidered Ball,” “Crab Carrying Melons,” “Hula-Hoop Race Walking,” and “Tug-of-War.” The competition was fiercely competitive, with cheers and shouts of encouragement rising and falling throughout the venue. Participants showcased their style and demonstrated their skills. In the highly anticipated tug-of-war event, after a hard-fought contest, the Insulation Production Department swept both the men’s and women’s titles. Following the conclusion of the games, an awards ceremony was held to honor the top three finishers in each individual event as well as the overall tug-of-war champions. Prior to the start of the sports meet, the company also presented an award to Comrade Zhang Jian, who had been honored with the title of “Model Worker of Zhuzhou City.”
The organization of this sports meet has received strong support and enthusiastic participation from all departments and employees across the company. Everyone has fully endorsed the successful conclusion of the event, and the company will carefully review and summarize its experience to ensure that future events are even better than the last!
